SOLAR POWER PROJECT LAUNCHES AT SML FACTORY – BINH DUONG

Let’s bring green energy everywhere with ON Energy! On the morning of August 8th, 2022, a rooftop solar power project officially started at SML Vietnam Co., Ltd. For this project, Soga Pluto is investing the money, and ON Energy is trusted to be the main company in charge of building it (the General Contractor).

This solar power project will have a capacity of 972.28 kWp and use 1784 solar panels. The total investment for the project is over 13 billion VND. Once it’s finished, the project will produce electricity right at the factory to help with their operations. This will make the power supply more secure and also reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 33,112 tons.

Mr. Vincent, the CEO of SML, said he hopes this project will save electricity, help them meet “green” production standards, protect the environment to be green, clean, and beautiful, and deal with climate change. He also wants to make sure they are keeping up with the trend of using clean energy in Vietnam.
