BRINGING SOLAR POWER TO INTERFLOUR FLOUR FACTORY

On the morning of August 18, 2022, in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, LYS Energy (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. teamed up with ON Energy, the main contractor, to kick off the construction of a rooftop solar power system for the Interflour Vietnam flour factory.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Phan Xuan Huy, representing the investor LYS Energy, shared that the rooftop solar project at the Interflour factory has a capacity of 1.9 MWp. It’s expected to produce about 3,688,000 kWh of electricity each year, with a total investment of over 16 billion VND.

The system is set to be fully installed by November 2022. Once ready, it will provide a steady power supply for the Interflour factory’s production needs while helping cut down CO2 emissions to protect the environment.

With Vietnam’s huge potential for rooftop solar power for self-use, ON Energy sees supporting customers in building these systems as a key long-term goal. It’s an efficient way to supply electricity and a practical solution to meet society’s growing energy demands.
